The vines lie on the terraced cobbly terrains and hills of Corbiéres, rich in clay and limestone. Old Carignan grapes are vinified in bunches through carbonic macerations so as to fully reveal the fruity potential. As for the Syrah and Granache varieties, they are converted into wine through a traditional method, at a temperature maintained between 25 and 28° C. The wine matures in vats for six months. Blend: 30% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 40% Carignan Vieilles Vignes (70 years) Tasting Notes: Dark colored wine with cerise shades. Its aroma is a combination of complex, ripe or cooked fruit and liquorice with hints of garrigue flowers. A well-balanced, silky feeling first embraces the palate, then giving way to a beautiful fruity experience, with fine and ripe tannins. Serving suggestion: Serve between 17 and 18°C, with red or white meat, grilled or served with a sauce.
